Replace all the missing drawer glides
-
did you know plastic glides can be bought for a couple a bucks at your home improvement store

so I can add the remaining furniture bits to the ever growing pile of parts
Remove old hardware
Alter the bottom to work with new legs
-
easier said than done
Install new hardware

Repeat all steps a second time
-

Paint and wax
-
I think I am getting the hang of this part
Line drawers
-
so we dont have to look at colorful ink stains and doodles left by the last owner
Photograph your finished pieces and contact patient customer

FRENCH WALLPAPER masion decor wallpaper
Im always looking for new wallpapers for my furniture projects.
When I saw Amy from Maison Decor had a wallpaper giveaway,
the first thing I thought of was her china cabinet that both George
and I adored.
and I adored.
and her laundry room ceiling she did in a faux tin wallpaper
both available from the the lovely ladies at
D. Marie Wallpaper Interiors.
Sure enough when she sent them a link to her blog to
show off these projects finished with there wonderful wallpapers, they agreed to sponsor a giveaway on her blog
and that leads us to this point.
Still quite in shock ....
I WON THE GIVEAWAY!
now my problem is to pick what I want
Here are just a few of the beautiful papers I chose from.
Thank you again to:

Little table gets a breath of life
Ok. So Ive had this table for years. I was trying to sell it. No one wanted it. Big surprise. So, I thought, why not paint it?? Duh. I love the turquoise-teal colors so I thought I would give it a go.
I mixed a few colors and made my chalk paint. Used my handy-dandy new stencil with some Ben Moore silvery-gray paint. Sanded and waxed. Fineto.
MY BEDROOM PROJECT
It started awhile back working out the right floor plan and acquiring a few key pieces of furniture.
IE. desk & sideboard
I decorated using all the things I love and have collected over time.
I used vintage tri fold mirrors leftovers from old vanities on top of our nightstands.
We adore the vintage window over the headboard.
To hang it, I first found the wall studs and marked their location on the wood window frame.
I then screwed a *D* hanger in those two locations to hang off of screws.
